Baby Got Backup! connects families with Jess’ Way’s screened caregiver network for babysitting, backup childcare, and short-term childcare support.

The Baby Got Backup! Family Membership is designed for families who want ongoing access to Jess’ Way’s caregiver network along with priority access and reduced booking fees.

Standard Booking

For childcare requests submitted with standard advance notice.

Less Than 48 Hours / Short Notice

For childcare requests submitted less than 48 hours before care is needed.

Same-Day / Rush Request

For requests where childcare is needed the same day.

IMPORTANT

Caregiver wages are separate from the annual membership fee and all booking fees.

Booking fees cover Jess’ Way’s coordination and caregiver-matching services.

Childcare is subject to caregiver availability.

Membership provides priority access to Jess’ Way’s caregiver network, but it does not guarantee that a caregiver will be available for every request.

Families are encouraged to submit childcare requests as early as possible, especially for short-notice and same-day care.

Availability depends on the date, time, location, length of care, number and ages of children, and current caregiver availability.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A MEMBER

Families can still request babysitting and backup childcare without purchasing an annual membership.

Non-members simply pay the applicable non-member booking fee each time care is requested.

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1 — REQUEST CARE

Submit your childcare request and provide the date, time, location, number and ages of children, and any important information about your family’s needs.

Families are encouraged to submit requests as early as possible.

STEP 2 — JESS’ WAY REVIEWS YOUR REQUEST

We review your childcare needs and begin looking within our screened caregiver network.

STEP 3 — CAREGIVER MATCHING

Jess’ Way works to identify an available caregiver who fits the needs of your request.

Members receive priority caregiver matching.

Priority matching does not guarantee caregiver availability for every request.

STEP 4 — CONFIRM YOUR CARE

Once an appropriate caregiver is available and the booking is confirmed, your family receives the information needed for the scheduled care.

SCREENED CAREGIVERS

Baby Got Backup! families receive access to Jess’ Way’s screened caregiver network.

Jess’ Way caregivers are carefully vetted, including background checks and reference checks, so families can feel confident in the childcare support they receive.

We also consider the needs, schedule, and preferences of each family when working to identify an appropriate caregiver.

Our goal is not simply to fill a childcare request — it is to make thoughtful matches whenever possible.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL & CANCELLATION POLICY

The Baby Got Backup! Family Membership is $299 per year.

The Baby Got Backup! Family Membership automatically renews annually at the applicable membership rate.

Families may cancel at any time before their renewal date to avoid being charged for the next membership year.

Membership fees are non-refundable once the membership has renewed.

Renewal and cancellation terms will be clearly communicated to families during enrollment.
